Ron Hatton the Gadgetman has just uploaded an new web page at Diagnostics Gadgetman Groove this site is definitely a site to look at with many videos as well as tons of valuable information that  on how your vehicle's engine works. The information is explained simply and effectively that even someone that is not trained in the operation of the engines operation will understand the principal of operation.

The gadgetman groove is definitely an option for reducing engine emissions and increasing most engine's performance. Ron claims that 95% of all gas engines will show a substantial increase performance.

Alternative Energy Novel

Today's post is about Marc Bauer's novel Alternative Energy.

When Marc’s mother saw “Alternative Energy” for the first time, she asked him what his picture was doing on somebody else’s book.

Free Energy, Perpetual Motion Machines and the Holy Grail

Last night I completed reading the DaVinci Code by Dan Brown, what a great read. If you haven't read it yet it is worth the time to read it. What does this have to do with alternative energy you may ask?

The search for free energy, perpetual motion machines and the Holy Grail are things that the learned people from around the world have sought after for countless centuries.

Tesla, Moray, Hendershot and Hubbard all were developing alternative energy devices in the early 1900's. Even though there were many people that witnessed these devices working and most of the devices were well documented we the public have never seen them nearly 100 years later. There are many questions that we should be asking:

Why did these devices not get passed on the the public?
Who suppressed these inventions, the church, big business, oil companies, the list goes on and on?

No I am not saying that there was some big dark conspiracy that suppressed these inventions but the facts do lean towards these inventions being suppressed in one way or another.

Most of us older people were taught in school that scientists from the past discovered the principals of how things work and these laws can not be broken. As the years go by every now and then the next generation of scientists discover something new that previous generations of scientists were not aware of with their older technologies.

What would have been the results of one or even all of these inventions being manufactured? Would there have been thousands of jobs lost or would the jobs be different?

As technology changes so do the jobs, a good example of this is the blacksmith was common around the turn of the 1900's but when the automobile replaced the horse for transportation a new profession the auto mechanic replaced the blacksmith to a great extent.

Today robotics are replacing humans on the assembly lines. This does not mean that humans are no longer needed on the assembly lines it just means that their jobs are going to be different. Years ago when computers first started becoming common place in the business world and talk was all about the paperless office, well if anyone was working in the business world at the time or even today there is more paper used today than before computers came into existence.

Today our inventors are not immune to the pressures that the narrow minded world can impose on them. I personally do not think that we as the human race, big business or who ever that is in control has advanced all that far in the past 100 years to not try to suppress new technology until it suites their own personal agenda.

It is harder today to suppress technology with the advent of the internet, but it is not impossible. Every few weeks you hear about an invention that is going to change the world and then nothing, what happens to all these inventions?

I have asked a lot of questions today, you my faithful readers from what ever country you live in may have different questions that you should ask yourself.

LED Lighting

I picked up a book yesterday on how to reduce the amount of energy that a family uses in their homes. I will be adding a post from time to time on this subject as it is also an important aspect to alternative energy that everyone can accomplish themselves today.

In most stores today in their lighting departments you will find a large selection on LED lights that are replacing the standard lamps in existing light fixtures in the home. The advantage of using LED lights is that they do not use anywhere the amount of power that a conventional light consumes. Less power consumption means more money in your pocket at the end of the month, which is a good thing.

The one thing that I have noticed with the LED lamps is that they produce a different colour of light than we normally use to. The light has a bluish colour and may take some people a little longer to get use to the new colour of light.

A blue light will make the room feel a little cooler. To get around that problem a different colour of paint on the walls will eliminate the problem and give the home a different feel. (Note: your spouse that is if you have one will probably appreciate having the interior rooms painted), and of course there is the little matter of having less expenses each month.

I personally have modified some of the lights in the motor home and have found that the coach batteries last considerably longer before they need to be recharged. The other thing that I have found in the motor home is that the colour of the LED lights do not change noticeably when the battery voltage is reduced not like an incandescent lamp that gets considerably dimmer and more orange in colour.

Big trucks, 18 wheelers, have had LED lights on their trailers for several years now  great success. The only problem that LED Taillights have is in our harsh winters up in Canada the LED tail lights get covered with snow which reduces their visibility.

I saw in a car magazine that you can purchase after market LED headlights. It will only be a matter of time when all vehicles will be equipped with LED lights, when this happens the cost of producing the lights will be greatly reduced.

Presently the standard automotive style of LED lamps are priced around $9.00 to $12.00 where as the same bulb as an incandescent lamp is $3.00 to $4.00 range. The savings are in that LED lamps last many time longer than the incandescent lamps and since the LED lamps do not require as much power there will be a slight increase in the fuel economy of the vehicle.

The size of an alternative energy generator does not need to be as powerful if you can reduce your power consumption.

I was amazed by the amount of information available on the Internet on LED Lighting. All you have to do is search for LED Lighting and a lot of information will appear for you to go through. This research business does require a lot of reading.

Frozen

Up here in southern Alberta it is cold. As I have mentioned before we live in a motor home. Yesterday morning when I got up it was -5 C inside and with the wind chil of -30 C outside. We spent all day trying to get the water lines working. By 4 pm we had water running in the bathroom and it was not until 5:30 pm that we got the water running in the kitchen sink.

We had no Internet connection for the last couple of days that is the reason for no new posts. Will have a new one for you tomorrow.

What is an Inventor?

An inventor is considered the first person to create a new item or different way of doing something. Inventors are highly original thinkers who tend to look for ways to solve problems and improve on existing ideas to develop a useful item that fills a need. Some early famous inventors have changed the way entire nations of people live.

Thomas Edison, born 11 February 1847 in Milan, Ohio, was an inventor who certainly changed the world with his invention of the light bulb in 1880. Edison not only invented the light bulb, but also the systems to use it with such as electricity generators for homes. He also created systems for sound and film recording.

It's important to note that perfecting an invention until it's completely usable is an important quality of being an inventor. Inventors aren't people who just come up with a new idea. Rather, inventors actually create a finished product or method of doing something. Anyone could potentially become an inventor, but few people have the perseverance to follow an idea through to an original, perfected product or method because this takes a great deal of time, research and experimenting.

Do inventors create an invention only for the money that they may make from it or do the create the invention to help others that are experiencing the same problems? Tesla and Moray both were trying to help people by providing free electricity to everyone on the planet. 

I added that bit about Thomas Edison as it is very interesting, did he invent the light bulb to help people or did he invent it to make a lot of money? You can do the research and decide.

The question to ask yourself is why are you inventing the device you are presently working on?

Is it to help humanity?

Is it to make lots of money?

Is it to help people as well as to make money?

Only you as an inventor  can answer this question, there is no right or wrong answer, but it is interesting to understand where you are coming from and it may change the way that you design your invention.

Bill Gates made his fortune with microsoft but now spends his time and personal wealth helping others that bare less fortunate. All that I am saying is that making money from your invention is not a bad thing.

The above quote by Dr. Albert Einstein was published in 1920, based on Einstein's speech at the University of Leiden, Holland, (May 5, 1920).
The publication was in German, and translated by Sir Oliver Lodge into English, quoted from his book, "Ether and Relativity" (1925). However practically all textbooks in physics omit this fact. Einstein himself has gone on record stating on his 70th birthday:
"Now you think that I am looking back at my life's work with calm satisfaction. But, on closer look, it is quite different. There is not a single concept of which I am convinced that it will stand firm and I am not sure if I was on the right track after all."
Question: "What about conservation of energy law pertaining to the operation of cosmic energy converters and motors?"
Answer: "...every emission or absorption of a virtual particle is already accepted to totally violate conservation of energy. That is, emission represents the sudden appearance of extra energy in the ordinary universe, and absorption represents the sudden disappearance of some energy from the ordinary universe. Every charged particle in the universe constantly does both processes. Even the neutron is continually breaking into different virtual, charged particles. So every piece of mass in the universe, ACCORDING TO ORDINARY PARTICLE PHYSICS—is already violating conservation of energy on the microlevel...
...a strong magnetic pole represents an additional stress in space-time, (the G-Field, R.S.) as does a strong static electric charge. Either of these situations warps and twists space time itself. This in the region of a magnetic pole or of a strong static charge, conservation of energy need not apply. Specifically, for large, massive atoms of some heavy elements, violation of ordinary "linear" magnetism—and hence of the linear conservation of energy law—has already been noted.

This is particularly interesting since, with a permanent magnet, one can apply spatiotemporal (G-Field) stress in a locality without any further input of energy. The entire business of using this to produce a free energy device depends simply on the cleverness of the inventor. It is also possible to time the applications of both effects—static electric stress and magnetic monoploar stress - with an ordinary electromagnetic rotary device to produce seemingly "Free" energy. And so the potential is there for free energy.To the question,"Can it in principle be done?", we must definitely answer, "Yes, if we believe our present physics." The second question, "How difficult is it to do?", can be answered in several ways; possibly the best is: "If one is clever and gets back to absolute, simple fundamentals, it may be possible to do it cheaply and in a straightforward, practical manner."

Answer: This applied only to so-called "closed systems" in our technology, like turbines, combustion engines, steam
engines, etc.
Nature shows that the movement of electrons around the atomic nuclear, planets around the suns, etc. are indeed all
genuine "Perpetuum mobiles" since they represent "open systems," interacting with various fields of electrical, gravitational etc. nature.
Examples of Perpetuum Mobile Actions are, among others: A) the Bessler Wheel (1712 to 1717), B) The Foucalt Pendulum (France) both are powered by the rotation of the earth. "The earlier, original concept of perpetual motion refers merely to any device that does work in excess of its energy input. This does not exclude an unseen energy source (such as the G-Field!) as the input to a perpetual motion device. It is this that separates practical perpetual motion from the laws of thermodynamics!"

Question: "Why are permanent magnets so important in connection with design of G-Field converters?"
Answer: Permanent magnets act as "cosmic energy pumps" or "gravitational diodes." The space energy or G-Field
can be concentrated, focused, magnified and compacted by strong magnetic fields. The development of very strong
magnets, so-called "Super-Magnets' (NIB's) made from exotic alloys, makes G-Field converters and generators possible.

Question: "What are the prerequisites for successful R & D efforts leading to mass production and licensing of G-Field converters?"

Answer:
1) Identification and refinement of the best developed, most economical, most promising conceptual approach.
2) Close international contacts to assure a flow of up to date information about all new developments in this technology area in order to avoid dead-end approaches.
3) Follow the newly developed super-magnet technology in all countries, with special emphasis on samarium-cobalt and neodynium compounds (neodynium-iron-boron) and other new materials.
4) Application of vortex-technology within the known laws of fluid-dynamics and nuclear dynamics.
5) Sufficient long-term funding for success by attracting venture capital, by offering of tax write-offs plus an inflation-proof potential return. (As a tax write-off, it can be more attractive to an investor than giving to a favorite charity. Note: Over 100% in the U.S.A.)
6) In general, logical thinking and ethical handling of the project in question by all partners, will assure success. (Note: In reference to Item 5 above): Since the IRS vrs SNOW case of 1974, it is held that a new limited partnership organized for the purpose of financing the development of a new process or product is entitled to deduct research, experimentation and development costs.
It is of course extremely difficult to put a price tag on the results of R & D in an area of revolutionary technology. However, there is no doubt whatsoever about the feasibility of the technology as such.

The following is an exerpt from the article that the paper wrote.

Alfred M. Hubbard, Seattle boy inventor of a device which for want of a better name he terms an atmospheric power generator, yesterday made good his prediction that he would drive a motorboat with the apparatus as a source of power.

An eighteen foot boat, propelled by a thirty-five-horse power electric motor, which obtained its current from the Hubbard coil, was driven about Portage Bay on Lake Union.  Among those who witnessed the demonstration was a well-known local capitalist, the inventor's father,William H. Hubbard, and a Post Intelligencer reporter.

The boat traveled at a speed of between eight and ten knots--silently, except for the whirring of a chain belt which connected the motor with the propeller shaft.  When the chain belt was removed, the motor ran free at a speed estimated at 3,500 revolutions

Alfred proved that his device could and did power a boat around Portage Bay but he was unable to see his invention into reality like many inventors past and present.

Mark Twain once said "The man with a new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds"

That statement is as true today as it was over 100 years ago when Mark Twain first said it. 

Making a new invention today especially when it works outside the known physical laws understood today will always run into many of the learned scientists rejecting the device because they do not understand it.

A couple of examples of this are:

Nichola Tesla managed to receive radio signals from outer space. The scientific community and the press totally discredited Tesla as they believed that it could not be true. Today we all know that there is radio waves reaching earth from distant stars.

Tesla gave a talk on his theory that everything is in constant motion, this was at the turn of the 1900's this was way before the scientific community discovered atoms and today this phenomena  is called Quantum Physics.

The learned scientists of the day as well as todays scientists have a very hard time thinking outside the box. I had better qualify this last statement I personally believe that our whole society suffers  from from the same narrow mindedness. We are taught to think this way by our education system.

All that I am saying is that if any of you that are presently developing an invention that is outside the box you will most probably run into a lot of obstacles before you can get your invention accepted by the scientific community.  Do check out the Alfred Hubbard link above it is very interesting.

Mankind has long desired to create a device that puts out more energy than is taken in.  Although science considers it against established laws, nature indeed offers many such examples, such as in the case of a waterfall that powers a turbine and related weather patterns replenishing the waterfalls water supply.

Fluxite is a private Edmonton company that has spent over 8 years examining various methods to create a device that would use a natural energy source and convert it to electricity. Fluxite is 100% owned and financed by Ken Tetterington.  Mr. Tetterington was the founder of 3 public companies, including Tetratel Inc (TIN: CDNX), Segway 3 Corp (Pink Sheets), and most recently, Splitfish Gameware Inc. (54S: Frankfurt).  He has also filed in excess of 20 patents worldwide for various inventions.
During this time, Fluxite has explored countless free energy claims on the Internet, such as magnetics, transformers, power increasers, generators, and chemical reactions.  So far the methods of others have turned out to be cleaver designs used to promote exposure or entrap unsuspecting investors.

It needs to be said that, the heart of every valid invention is having a valid workable theory. This is the core of the current Fluxite energy generator.  Tests are first conducted to try to prove or disprove details of a theory, then after all tests are acceptable, an invention can be designed and built.  After years of testing, if the core theory proves not to be valid, then the theory is shelved and a new theory is examined.

At this stage, Fluxite is building a prototype that has passed all such tests and it is hoped that a working device can be produced from the theory.  The core of the theory rewrites what electricity is and how it interacts with the world.  To date, many trained in the art are taught how electricity works and how to apply that understanding however it has not yet been explained what electricity is in the first place.

A short explanation of a working principal is in order.  We have concluded, at least for our purposes, that electricity is not a particle but rather a magnetic ‘bubble’.  This is very similar to a magnets field in that these electrical bubbles repel (push) other bubbles however they dissipate after a short time.  Furthermore these bubbles do not have a pole such as a magnet.  The magnetic portion of the bubbles repel only.  These bubbles also appear to have, at their core, what is commonly thought of as an electrostatic particle.  Although, once again, we concluded this is not a particle but rather a force field or attraction bubble.  These two features in combination allows ‘electricity bubbles’ to repel (push) each other and have an attraction component (pull) which allows them to travel along a conductive surface.  This explanation is of the simplest terms as the discussion is not what electricity is but rather how to capitalize on its forces.

Now, in our experiments we have proved that static electricity exists without a magnetic field. This is to say that we can split out the pull (static electricity) from the pull (magnetic energy).  We can further ascertain that the push of electricity is not equal in power of its pull (more powerful).  Without going into great detail in this matter, we can then propose a theory based on our own internal tests and experiments.

Once again, in the simplest terms, what we then need to do is to use the pull (strongest) component of electricity and apply it against its own push (weakest). This imbalance is what we are attempting to use to power our generator.
We never follow a time schedule when building an invention, and as such we cannot say when or if the device will work as expected. All we can say is that out of the hundreds of concepts and ideas, ours is the most likely to succeed, based on real world models such as weather patterns and how energy has unequal push and pull components.

Yesterday I had a reader call me a free energy kook, maybe I am but I personally believe that there is a need for more development in alternative energy devices. If that means that I am a kook so be it.

Where has all the free energy devices gone?

Todays Post started out to be about free energy but has ended up sounding more like a rant on our freedoms in North America.

For the past 100 years there have been many inventors that have shown working models of their free energy devices and yet we the public can not go down to the local hardware store and purchase one. Why is this?

To start with a few of the devices were like the magician's illusions, they looked real but in reality there were only smoke and mirrors. A large number of these devices worked as the inventor said they would but for some reason the devices could never be duplicated even by the inventor. And there were a few devices that worked and could be replicated easily by the inventor as well as by other people. Where are these devices today?

Charles Pogue from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in the 1930's invented a carburetor that would get over 100 miles per gallon on gasoline. Ford Motor engineers came up to Canada to check out this new and revolutionary invention. The engineers returned to the United States after finding that the carburetor  worked exactly as Mr. Pogue said it did.

This is could be  one reason why the general public will never see this high milage carburetor in production "The Progue carburetor using the gasoline available in the USA in the 1930s but which is no longer available as the oil industry does not want functional high mpg carburetors to be available to the public".

Is this what happens to all the revolutionary free energy devices here in North America?

Inventors from other countries from around the world are designing and building free energy devices and in some cases they are getting ready to start manufacturing these devices. How can this happen in other countries and not here in Canada and the US? Canada and the US Governments tell us that we have the most freedoms of any country and yet for some reason our inventions are held back from the public by .... (Big Business?) who really knows as this information will probably never reach the light of day. Governments come and go and yet there is never any major change in the policy so the question I have started asking my self is who is really running our countries? It sure isn't the government that we elect.

I have noticed on the internet that there are many articles to do with free energy dated around 2003 and very few articles posted after this date. I have no idea why what this means. I do not think that the inventors all died or have disappeared off the face of the world in the past few years. If anyone has any theories on the subject let me know and I will pass it on to all my readers.

Funding your Invention

The cost of experimentation for the amateur inventor can be very overwhelming especially when one is on a limited income.  A lot of would be inventors even though they have a great idea for an invention, give up for lack of money to purchase the required materials needed to build and test the invention.  Scientists have always been plagued with the problem of money so you are not the only inventor suffering from this age old problem.

What great inventions have been lost to mankind because the inventor was unable to build their inventions due to lack of funding? The answer to this question has no answer but the problem still exists today for most inventors.

For the garage or backyard inventors this lack of funding provides a real challenge. Sometimes garbage dumps, surplus equipment, and parts are the only way to cut the cost to build the invention. The problem is that the part that is required for the invention may also be the reason that the piece of equipment has been discarded. An example of this is that I needed a high voltage transformer for one of my experiments. I went to the local garbage dump and retrieved an old television set. After going to all the trouble of taking the television apart and removing the high voltage flyback transformer only to find that the transformer was dead. What a waste of time and energy. My invention is still sitting in a box on the seat of my motorhome waiting to be completed.

I do not know what your emails look like but I get several hundred emails a day a lot of these emails are advertising how to make large amounts of money every day. I decided to take a little time and look into this creative way of making money. Is it real or is it a scam?

The best results I found was by a young fellow in the US who made a whole $195.00 in three weeks. The following week he only made $52.00 with two sales of his product. At least he was honest, and lets face it an extra $240.00 per month would buy a few parts for an invention. No matter how you look at it, with the amount of time a person needs to spend to make money for the invention plus their regular job that supplies them with food and shelter, there is very little time left over for working on the invention. A person also needs a little time for personal enjoyment and with a limited time to work (24 hours) there just isn't enough hours in a day. When one gets older there just isn't enough energy available in the old body to work 18 to 20 hours per day.

Then the question becomes what does one do to generate income for the invention?

An inventor could approach someone with money who would invest in the invention with the hopes that the invention would work and make them lots of money on their investment. With our world economy as uncertain as it is these investors are few and far between.

Duplicating Electronic Circuits

I have been searching on the Internet for the last couple of days looking for someone that has successfully built a working model of the plans for Tesla's supposed electric circuit that powered his electric car. The drawing above was produced nearly 20 years ago, all the parts are available today, then if the circuit drawing did work why hasn't someone duplicated it? There should have been at least a few people that were  able to produce it and there should have been a few people showing us on YouTube examples of their experiments. 

The circuit drawing above reminds me of  jigsaw puzzle with a few of the key pieces having been lost over time. This is a common problem when trying to duplicate experiments produced by scientists of the past.

Should someone try to duplicate the circuit?  I personally would be very hesitant to spend very much of my money on such a project that had such an uncertain  outcome. It would be like putting all my money into a lottery ticket and expecting to win every time.

In a previous post I talked about Sky4Energy which did have a youtube video that not only demonstrated that the circuit worked but showed all of us just how well it did work.

By using a known to work circuit it is a lot easer to get results than by using a circuit that has been untested.

An experiment is much like writing a computer program, you must start with a module that is working completely. Then you add another module to the first module to accomplish a different result. An example of this would be, the first module was able to produce 5 volts output by adding a second module (voltage doubler circuit) you would have 10 volts output. By designing your electronic circuits in this way if say the second module doesn't work or fails through component failure then the time required to diagnose and repair a problem is greatly reduced.

Now in saying all this when you have an electronic circuit that does work the way that you want then it is time to redesign the circuit and assemble the complete circuit on one circuit board. You do this to simplify the duplication of the working circuit.

I have been successfully building electronic circuits for over 50 years using the modular approach, it has only been when I deviate from this type of construction that I encounter problems. I hope that this post will help some of you new experimenters out there.

Nicola Tesla's Electric Car Revealed

Last night I discovered a web site that everyone out there will be excited to see. The web site explains how Tesla could have powered his 1931 Pierce Arrow Electric Car. There are two schematic diagrams showing a series and a parallel circuit that Tesla could have used. The tubes used were a common 70L7GT Half Wave Rectifer that believe it or not are still available today.  I know all of you want to see this site but be patient. Here are the circuit diagrams:

Just a suggestion I personally would buy only a couple of these tubes and experiment to see what kind of output that you could expect to see. I personally have a very limited experimental budget and thus can not experiment as extensively as I would like. Here are some images of the tube.

The Value of Books

Books are an accumulation of the authors ideas on a paticular subject. In do it yourself and technical books the author tries to teach the reader how to accomplish the same results as the author.

If anyone out there has ever tried to teach someone how to do something it is not always all that easy. Not everyone who writes a DIY manuals are able to present the complete instrructions on building their device.

Patents are suubmited to he Patent Office explaining how the inventors device works. Now in real life there is a few problems with this system.
1 - The people at the patent office may not understand how the device works and reject the appplication for the patent.
2 -- The inventor having built hundreds of these devices may inadvertently forgot a  step that the inventor took for granted.

All that I am saying is as we experiment with the relatively new field of alternatiive energy we have to be aware that the books that are out there do not always have the answers. The projects that are outlined in the book or article may not always work as was originally described.

The other problem is the reader may not have the technical skills to be able to build the project. Does this mean  that the book was a scam since the project could not be repoduced from the authors description? No, but the manual may not have explained fully all the steps.

We as experimenters in this new free alternative energy field must learn to take the information that we can get from other experimenters and make it work for our own use.

Yesterday I provided a link to a video on getting free energy from the air. Does it work? Yes. Is it practical or is it just an interesting experiment?  It could charge a cel phone battery, is that enough? But the concept is a starting point only and that is basically what the video was trying to say.

When I first saw the video some of the questions I asked myself were:
Why there was no hookup to earth grouund?
What would happen if on the output a voltage multiplier?
Would 2 or more units in parallel would increase the current?

Just had company arrive until.
  

Free Electricity Circuit

Today's post is about a nifty little circuit that creates electricity from the sky with only a few parts. The video does show that you can charge a cel phone when an antena is connected to the circuit.

 Is this circuit practical? Yes and no, the circuit does prove conclusivly that electricity can be produced with this small circuit but he amount of usable electrricity is very small. As with all experiments it did prove hat it could work.

Now we as experimenters have to try to design a more sophisticated circuit around this base circuit that can produce more usable electricity. You can view the video at  Sky4Energy  Sky4Energy does have a book that can be purchase at a reasonable price if you want continue experimenting along    this type of experimenting. The advantage of this system is  that you can build the small circuit shown in the video at a reasonable cost to make sure that the concept really works for you.

In the past Nicola Tesla and Henry Moray both built devices that worked on this or a similar principal to produce large  quantities of usable electricity.

Today Tariel Kapanadze a Georgia Republic inventor is making headlines with his invention that   produces usable amounts of electricity from the air.

I am challenging all you readers/experimenters out there to build a system that works.

Power4Home Scam

It has recently been brought to my attention that Power4Home company has not been sending out their products to all their paying customers. This is definitely not good business practice and should be addressed by the authorities. The following is an excerpt from one of the forums The Power4Home on-line presentation includes "As seen on" Fox News and other reputable media sites. On further investigation (August 8th) we have found no content on the Fox News web site relating to this claim. It appears that Fox News is serving adverts for Power4Home on it's pages. To Fox News; this is not helpful! We have contacted Fox News to advise them of the misuse of their brand. In keeping with the tactic of appearing to be endorsed by Fox News - From Chris at MapaWatt: "The narrator tries to rely on the Beck tactics of over dramatization, blaming the government and greedy corporations, trying to appeal to the audience’s emotions while playing loose with the facts, etc. ... We note that there is an identical scam called Power4Patriots just out. It is being advertised on the Fox news site and others using a similar banner and the same claim. We suggest that the information published on the Internet debunking this product has forced a name change. I made a mistake advertising for this company and I apologize to you my trusted readers. I have removed their post from this site along with the link to web site. If anyone ever has a problem with receiving any of the products that are advertised on this web site let me know immediately so that I can take the appropriate action to help all our fellow alternative energy experimenters. Thank you for your help.

Electric Car

Yesterday's blog sparked quite a few emails asking about electric vehicles.

Electric cars the past and the future. One of the most famous and least understood was Nicola Tesla's 1931 Pierce-Arrow  pictured above. This car used no batteries, had an 80 horse electric motor for power and was able to achieve a top speed of 90 miles per hour. That is a good speed for today's roads but back in the 30s you share wouldn't find me driving that fast on any of the roads.

Today there is a modern day Tesla car manufactured by the Tesla Motor Company in California. The car costs a lot more than what I can afford, though to be honest all the new cars cost more than what I can afford.

California is one of the few states in the US that has implemented charging stations for electric vehicles throughout the state even though electric vehicles  are presently not that common there. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was the main reason for this implementation in the state of California.

Reconditioning Dead Batteries

What does one do when the battery storage batteries will not take a charge?
This question has just come up for me as I live in a motor home full time and my two coach batteries are not holding a charge for any length of time. To replace the batteries it is going to cost me $300 per battery, that is $600 total cost that we just can not afford at this time.

Research time, on checking out the Internet I found lots of interesting ways to recondition old weak batteries. Too bad that I am so old as this would be a great business venture for anyone with very little competition and the spin off would be helping the environment. Electric cars are just starting to become available here in North America and every one of these vehicles store their energy in batteries of one type or another.

Does this get anyone's  interest? If I was 40 years younger I would be your main competition in this business. The trouble with being my age is that my body does not have the energy or stamina to build a business of the magnitude that would be possible to achieve. To be honest I had no idea that Nikola Tesla had so many secrets. All over the Internet today there are ads advertising Nikola Tesla's Secret. The question is where did this secret come from, and who discovered it.

I was looking at an ad this morning and was interested by the ebooks that the company was giving away as a bonus. Magnets 4 Energy, Phone 4 Energy,  The Renewable Energy Handbook, Living Green, Gas Saving Devices, Fuel Efficient Vehicles.  The titles of the bonuses looked impressive and for the amount of the complete package was reasonably priced. Sterling Engine

Today's post is about the Sterling Engine.

Wikipedia describes the sterling engine as "A Stirling engine is a heat engine operating by cyclic compression and expansion of air or other gas, the working fluid, at different temperature levels such that there is a net conversion of heat energy to mechanical work." The Sterling Engine was conceived in 1816 as an industrial prime mover to rival the steam engine, its practical use was largely confined to low-power domestic applications for over a century.

The Stirling Engine is noted for its high efficiency compared to steam engines, quiet operation, and the ease with which it can use almost any heat source. This compatibility with alternative and renewable energy sources has become increasingly significant as the price of conventional fuels rises, and also in light of concerns such as peak oil and climate change. This engine is currently exciting interest as the core component of micro combined heat and power (CHP) units, in which it is more efficient and safer than a comparable steam engine.


Today with the new technologies that have developed along with space age materials the Sterling Engine is starting to have a revival.

Today I am giving you my valued readers a link where you can down load the famous Patrick J. Kelly : A Practical Guide to Free Energy pdf book. This book holds a wealth of information on research that is currently being done by scientists from around the world.

The interesting thing about this book is that Patrick spends a lot of time updating and keeping the book current. This book is FREE to everyone and should be used as a reference to everyone who is experimenting or planning on doing some experimenting in the field of alternative energy systems.

These plans are included on this web site, mainly because people are being charged for them.
I personally believe that these plans show a wholly ineffective design and I do not recommend that you attempt to replicate it.
At the very best, you should consider it to be a research and development project. probably with little likelihood of your efforts being successful. It is most definitely NOT a build, install and drive away project.
Please be aware that these plans have been around for a long time and in that period, not a single person has stated that they have replicated the design and got it to work. Not even one person. Most people are generally delighted to tell others of their success, but that has not happened in this instance.
Based on my knowledge of many different styles of electrolysers, in my opinion, there is not the slightest chance of this design ever operating as claimed. However, I have no direct proof that it does not work, so by all means, check the design out, but just be aware that I don’t know of a single experienced person who considers that there is the slightest chance of the unit actually operating.
