Vulcan a small town in Alberta Canada, is becoming a leader in alternative energy.
Visionaries like Matt Orr of Canadian Sustainability and Water Solutions (CSWS) of Vulcan, are helping to make Vulcan a leader in alternative energy systems, through education and training. Matt Orr owner of CSWS envisions a need for alternative energy solutions in the agricultural, commercial, and home owners market. CSWS is working to educate individuals and groups in the relatively new technology of solar renewable energy.
CSWS offers products that will support a cleaner, greener and healthier way of life.
Even though Matt has all the facts and figures to show the savings and benefits of using solar to increase the sustainability of individual homes and businesses, most people are hesitant in making the change to the new technology. Part of the problem today is the instability of the World economy, high unemployment, and lack of excess funds. Most people forget that the cost of utilities, even though the economy is not stable, are continually increasing. In homes and businesses the amount of energy consumed can be reduced by using more efficient appliances and lighting. Surprisingly enough this is one area that most people overlook and in some cases, only requires using more efficient light bulbs to reduce energy consumption.
The longer that a solar system continues to work trouble free, the more money that you will save. Since solar cells have no moving parts there is nothing to wear out. Some solar collectors have a warranty period of over 20 years. When a solar system is connected to the grid any excess power not used is sold back to the service provider at a rate that the customer is currently paying for their power. There is also a rebate from the carbon tax. As you can see there are many advantages to using solar energy that is also tied to the grid.. How can anyone loose?
CSWS is a new company, only 2 years old specializing in solar energy and water purification systems. Matt spent several years doing research on solar energy and took training courses before deciding to start CSWS.
Today companies are approaching CSWS about their solar energy requirements. Some of these companies are located in other provinces.
Matt is definitely a pioneer in this new solar energy industry and I know that we will hearing a lot more about CSWS in the months and years ahead. Matt's web page is www.csws.info for all of you that want to see what he is doing.
I hope that this was article was informative. There are many new companies springing up around the country and who knows it might even be your company that I interview next.
