Alberta Gold Rush 2013
We have been spending the last month getting organized and ready to travel East in the motorhome to our storage pod in Alberta.
It amazes me how much two people can accumulate over the winter, but when we are both book collectors it does not take too long to have two to three big boxes of books to appear if by magic among our belongings.
The great new decision by both of us is to only buy ebooks from now on. This will at least reduce the size and weight of the books that we have to carry with us.
I have to build a trommel classifier when we get to Alberta, put a lot of our acquired possessions into storage, and pick up all our gold processing equipment so that we can be ready to head to the gold fields of northern Alberta as soon as the ice is off the river. This is going to be a great summer.
On the rainy days that we are not able to prospect for gold I will be working on a piece of equipment that will allow me to generate electricity to power all the electric appliances in our motorhome.
I do not know at this time if the motorhome park that we are planning on spending the summer has wifi, if it doesn't then posting to this blog will be very limited.
I will post a few photographs of the prospecting setup as well as keep you all updated as to how our electric generator system is progressing.
Until next time.
